Our Hawk Patrol Leader planned a great 10-mile bike ride down the Iron Horse Trail for his patrol, where they worked on some of the requirements for the Cycling merit badge and took a trip through an abandoned train tunnel.
One of our Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders organized a hike to Mailbox Peak, where a group of our Scouts travelled over 10 miles and more than 4,000 ft. of elevation to reach the peak of the mountain, completing one of the requirements for the Hiking merit badge along the way.
Our Shark Patrol Leader planned a camping trip to Cape Disappointment for his patrol where the Scouts had fun building driftwood fort, walking on the jetty and working on the Art Merit Badge by sketching photos at the iconic Deadman's Cove.
Our Troop spent a week away at Camp Parsons on the Olympic Peninsula, where they led themselves through their activities for the week, including kayaking, swimming, cooking, rock climbing and more before bringing home the title of Honor Patrol.
We enjoyed our annual Troop camping trip to Blake Island at this amazing State Park that can only be accessed by boat. The Scouts spent the weekend cooking their own meals, fishing and entertaining each other with games they created.
This Summer, the Advanced Scouts in our troop planned and executed a 70-mile backpacking trip from Mount Adams to Mount Rainier over 8 days, making memories that will last a lifetime!
Our Scouts spent the morning of the 4th of July helping the residents of the Washington State Soldiers Home in Orting, helping the residents enjoy the holiday program.
Our Shark Patrol planned a group outing to Daffodil bowling to enjoy some team-bonding fun on a rainy Saturday morning.
Our Spartan Patrol Leader planned an incredible trip to Millersylvania State Park where the scouts fishing and camping for the weekend where every scout reeled in a fish!
Our Scouts practiced being great citizens today, volunteering at the Washington State Soldiers Home with their Memorial Day service to honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country
